CRI stands for Colour Rendering Index and is abbreviated to RA. The LED CRI value is a measure of how much the emitted light is similar to that of sunlight. The maximum value is 100 RA and means no distortion of colours by the light.
RA values can be found in all types of light. Some examples are Daylight (RA 100), incandescent lamps (RA 99), LED (RA 97-75), and fluorescent tubes (RA 97-52).
RA 100-90 = very good
RA 90-75 = good
RA 75-50 = sufficient
RA 50-0 = insufficient
The LED lamps of LI-EX have an RA value of 98
In concrete terms and in comparison to cheaper products this means:
- very good colour rendering
- very even light course
- no infrared radiation
- no UV radiation
